As Caribbean Heritage Month begins this June, acclaimed Guyanese-American visual artist Dionne Polite will deliver a powerful artistic statement as part of Imagination

Unchained: A Celebration of Juneteenth Through Art, Culture, and Black Brilliance. Presented by Next Weekend Productions, Inc. (NWP), the signature Juneteenth Concert Experience returns on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 8 PM, at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center (3800 NW 11th Pl, Lauderhill, FL). This year’s celebration goes beyond music to debut a bold new visual art exhibition, reflecting the event’s dynamic theme: A Multisensory Celebration of Freedom, Creativity, and Cultural Legacy. The evening will also showcase unforgettable performances by the sensational Cande Rivers, known for her acclaimed Whitney Houston Tribute.
